Explosive Eighteen by Janet Evanovich
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
When Stephanie comes back from Hawaii with a mysterious tan line on her finger, everyone is anxious to find what's up. But a tan isn't all Stephanie got in Hawaii. Someone deposited a photo in her luggage that a number of parties are willing to kill for. Just another day in the life of your favorite New Jersey bounty hunter.I do enjoy a good Evanovich novel. These novels usually have the reader shaking their heads and laughing at the crazy antics of Stephanie Plum. Like the others in the series, this one is more than a little predictable. After 18 books we are certainly familiar with the standard Evanovich gags, and Stephanie's numerous missteps. I will say the ring mystery kept my attention though--Evanovich fans will definitely know what I mean.
Overall, this was a fun and entertaining story, if a bit predictable. Stephanie Plum fans will find that their favorite character is back for more.
