She is the author of the new book Article 5 which tells the story of Ember a teen living in the United States after the Bill of Rights has been revoked and replaced by new laws called the Moral Statutes. When Ember's mother is arrested for violating the Moral Statutes by being a single mother, Ember is carted away to a reformatory school, where she will stay until her eighteenth birthday.
